Happy holidays, gentlemen! My holiday wish for each and every one of you is HAPPINESS. I want you to feel happiness right now -- and into the new year.
I wish you happiness -- long-lasting happiness that fills your heart and
soul.
I wish you joy -- and someone to share that joy with you.
I wish you happy adventures and days filled with meaning.
I wish you happy days with times to rejoice.
I wish you a full life, filled with vibrant color, flavors, and sounds.
I wish you all the things that make your life filled with happiness -- whether it's working out, watching movies, reading a good book, sipping fine wine, or sitting by a roaring fire.
I wish you the courage and bravery to stand up for yourself and put yourself first.
And I wish you peace and serenity in this ever crazy and wild world in which we live.
Â
May all of these things add up to an abundantly HAPPY holiday and new year ahead for you.

Concerning happiness, do you feel that being happy is a choice, or is it something that you have no control over whatsoever? I've been thinking about this now for a few weeks, which started because somebody sent me an email asking about getting a better outlook and attitude on life. They wanted to know how to ensure that you wake up every day feeling good and happy.
I started to think about it, and I concluded that I make a daily decision to be happy and fulfilled. I rest very well at night because I feel I'm doing the best job I can. Sure, I'm not completely satisfied with everything, but overall I'm happy.
Time and time again, so many people are living in a constant state of negativity. They don't allow themselves the freedom to be happy. I feel that happiness is a choice and that you choose how you let other people & other external forces impact you & how you perceive life. You can either take life in a stride and decide that you're going to be happy or
not.
Make the conscious decision to be happy, and don't sabotage our happiness. Procrastination can damage your happiness. Things that are difficult and take hard work are the ones that we put off the most. Just do them! Also, giving up too soon on things that are challenging can steal our happiness. Buckle down and push through them for success. Another way to
sabotage happiness is by having unrealistic expectations of others. Don't project your expectations on others and understand that we, as humans, are fallible even with our best intentions. Forgive people for their fallibility, which is powerful for you. Another way to erode your happiness is by seeking validation. Realize that others don't need to give you fulfillment. Instead, create your own self-value.
Compliments and acknowledgment are amazing, but ultimately the only person's opinion that you should embrace is your own. And also, letting others' expectations of you create a view of ourselves will sabotage your happiness. Don't let others' view of you determine whether or not you feel like you're successful. Don't let others dictate what you should be doing -- and further, don't allow your
self-worth to be dictated when you don't do what they want you to.
Acknowledge, realize, and recognize these ways that you can sabotage your happiness. Do your best to correct your direction because you need to stop going down the negative path. Break that cycle. Ultimately realize what happiness means to you.
You may think that a promotion at work or someone's attention will make you happy. But if you're waiting for these things, these external factors, to happen to feel joy and happiness, you're going to be waiting a long time as you'll never be satisfied. You'll be repeatedly let down because you let negativity invade your life. Do not let that happen.
Crappy things happen to all of us. It's a fact of life. You can see other people that have it much worse, but they're happy. They're smiling because
they're not letting life's circumstances bring them down or still their happiness. Nobody is responsible for making you happy other than you.
