I recently discovered both Alpha M. and this group and I wanted to share my physical transformation with all of you; in 2011, at almost 18 years old, I was overweight and without any kind of self-esteem or self-confidence and, tired of being made a mockery of my physical appearance, I decide that things had got far too much.
I lost 34 kilos (almost 70 pounds) in three months (don't ask me how because I can't still understand how it has been possible), but I went straightly from overweight to underweight and, obviously, it wasn't good enough. After repairing a dislocated shoulder, I started lifting weights in 2014 and it took three years of constant training and proper dieting, in order to get some visible results and, for the first time ever, I felt comfortable with my physique.
Since then, I continued my path and, little by little, my body improved further and, despite quite some fat mass, I reached what I considered my best shape in 2020, when I was not that lean but kinda massive. It wasn't enough, though, so I decided i wanted to reach something I never thought I could do, getting a six-pack; despite all the difficulties linked to the calorie deficit (and some but non that much inevitable muscle mass loss) I finally reached the goal that 17 years old
never even dreamed about.
It took ten years, but staring the mirror and watch my current physical shape repays me of all the proverbial (and even actual) blood, sweat and tears dropped during all this time. I don't want to show off; I just hope that this post proves to be helpful for someone who is fighting to improve his physique, maybe not happy about results that don't arrive quickly or lacking motivation.
Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are all of us, especially when we have to drastically change our body and, if a fat boy can reach a six-pack, everyone can do it.Thank you for your attention and never stop fighting. (TL:DR Just watch the photo.)
